Scrapbooking World Series – a fundraising event with Tami Taylor

This workshop is a fundraising event.

Proceeds benefit the 2014 Senior League All-Star Team.

My 16 year old son Kyle made the local All-Star Senior League team! (That’s him in the top left corner.) His team was the only team in Nevada in his age bracket. So they are qualified to play in the West Regional Tournament for Little League. If they win that, they would move on to Banger, Maine and play in the Little League World Series!

Luckily, the tournament is just a few hours away in California but even with this – funds for their team are limited. We still need to cover lodging and travel expenses, so all of the parents are doing what they can to raise funds to send the kids to the West Regional Tournament on July 27th. I immediately though of my previous idea class Mother May I, that raised money and awareness for Scleroderma. The next thought was how can I do this for baseball? And a new scrapbooking idea series was born.

Scrapbooking World Series July 21 - July 27 $20.00

This class is for all scrapbookers.

All challenges posted in this class can be translated to both paper and digital scrapbooking, heck they could even be translated to art journaling.

In this World Series event, you will play through an entire “game” of scrapbooking. Each of the 9 innings contains challenges to help motivate you to complete pages, have some fun and stretch your comfort zone. Challenges will be based on baseball terminology, my son Kyle will first explain and/or demonstrate what the terminology means – then we will translate it to our scrapbook pages. PLUS – each layout you complete and upload to our gallery will give you an entry to win prizes. The grand prize is a $100 gift card to Creative Passion Classes!

• 12 pdfs with over 20 baseball terminologies explained and then translated into a scrapbook challenge, plus colorful illustrations as examples of the completed challenges
• Study Hall – our new crop & chat feature for all live workshops. Spend an evening with other class members as you chat about your favorite hobby and get a few pages done. Your coach, Tami Taylor, will be there to scrap and chat with you – and announce the winners of the prize drawings. (You do not need to be present to win.)
• a private class gallery to post layouts for drawing entries
• a private class forum  to share thoughts or ask questions – and to see what prizes you can win!
