Class will be in session for 12 months, beginning on January 1, 2012. You’ll receive a new lesson each 1st, 15th and 30th of the month.
On the 1st of the month: You will receive a pdf of celebrations for that month and idea on what to collect for the two ‘main’ celebrations we will cover that month.
On the 15th of the month: You will receive an inspiration video of me putting together the first celebration of the month.
On the 30th of the month: You will receive a second inspiration video of me putting together the second celebration we will focus on that month.
What celebrations will we cover?
A lot. With 24 videos we have a lot of room to cover all of the major celebrations and a few more obscure fun ones! International Bacon Day anyone?
What if I don’t celebrate those holidays?
You can translate a lot of the holidays into events you have had. For instance if you do not celebrate Labor Day but have had a backyard BBQ or pool party – you can easily just make it about that event.
What class materials will I get?
Over the course of the year long workshop you will receive:
12 written pdfs. These pdfs are not your standard written lessons. They are a valuable resource. The pdfs will list the celebrations for that will be covered in the video that month with ideas on things to collect for your Smashbooks, junk journals and ephemera diaries. You will receive the pdfs on the 1st so you can begin collecting ephemera before the video posts.
24 video lessons. Video lessons will show how pages in process. You will see how I ‘smashed’ these celebrations and gain a few tips and tricks along the way. What is the best way to get bacon in your book?
